All of us would like to do everything we can do to reduce our family’s carbon footprint on our planet. When you have a large family, it may be more difficult. Take the vehicle you drive. The bigger the vehicle the bigger the footprint. Until now. Meet the all-new Chrysler Pacifica Minivan Hybrid.

Recently revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the #2017ChryslerPacificaMinivanHybrid can get 30 miles on one electrical charge. When in combo electric and gas mode, the Pacifica Hybrid delivers 80 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) in the city. On the highway, that tank of gas that got you 370 miles per tank, will get you 530 in the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid.

An app on your smartphone will help you find standard 240 volt charging stations when on a long haul in the Pacifica Minivan Hybrid. Full charging takes as little as two hours. The clever app will tell you how much charge remains in your battery and help you locate a traditional gas station.

The minivan masters of innovation at Chrysler created this first ever gas-electric minivan. The engine is an engineering marvel. A Pentastar 3.6 liter V-6 traditional engine mated with a twin motor system and a 16-kWh battery. The battery is located under the floor of the middle row seating which eliminates the stow & go for the middle row—a small tradeoff for making the battery more accessible for charging.
