2023 Charger Trims and MSRP

Eight trims are available for Dodge Charger shoppers: SXT, GT, R/T, Scat Pack, Scat Pack Widebody, SRT Hellcat Widebody, SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody, and SRT Jailbreak.

Rear-wheel drive comes standard with all-wheel drive an optional upgrade. Prices for the 2023 Charger are still being finalized, but we expect them to be similar to the 2022 model.

The Charger SXT had an MSRP of $32,500, while the range-topping SRT Hellcat Redeye’s MSRP was $85,695.

The base SXT trim includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and power-adjustable front seats. You can choose from a range of optional upgrades, including Nappa leather upholstery, heated front, and rear seats, and memory settings for the driver’s seat.

If you step up to the GT trim, you get the upgraded version of the V-6 engine, performance tires, and an improved suspension. Inside the cabin, you gain a larger infotainment screen, a premium stereo, and automatic climate control.

The main difference with the R/T trim is the 370-horsepower V-8 engine under the hood. One of the optional upgrades on offer is the 19-speaker premium sound system.

The Scat Pack adds several features that will appeal to speed enthusiasts, such as the 485-horsepower engine, performance brakes, launch control, and a heated steering wheel. The widebody version of the Scat Pack includes some styling changes.

The SRT Hellcat sports the 717-horsepower supercharged V-8, SRT styling elements, and ventilated front seats. Premium suspension and high-performance brakes are also included.

The Hellcat Redeye is modeled after the Hellcat but has the advantage of the even more powerful 797-horsepower engine.

Dodge Charger Exterior

As you’d expect from a large muscle car, the Charger offers several exterior appearance options for you to choose from. Flared fenders, 20-inch black wheels, black badges, and black spoilers are just some additional features you can select.

Or, if you prefer a wider-bodied appearance, choose one of the widebody trims.

The Charger’s interior is roomy enough to comfortably accommodate five passengers, even on long-haul drives. The Charger has cloth upholstery in both rows in the base trim. If you need to install child car seats in the rear row, there are three sets of LATCH connectors for you to use. At the rear, the Charger’s trunk has over 16 cu ft of cargo storage space.

If you want to upgrade the cabin’s appearance, you can add leather upholstery, suede accents, and much more. Unlike some vehicles, many of these optional upgrades are available with the base trim.

2023 Dodge Charger Engine and Performance

The engine options in this sedan range from strong units for everyday driving to supercharged engines that can propel the Charger at an eye-watering pace. The base engine is a 3.6-liter V-6 that churns out 292 horsepower and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The same V-6 engine is available with an upgrade in some of the higher trims to boost its output to 300 horsepower.

Several V-8 engine configurations are available with the Charger, including a 5.7-liter V-8 that churns out 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. If that isn’t enough power for you, consider stepping up to the 6.4-liter V-8 to gain access to 485 horsepower.

If you’re looking to accelerate at race car speeds, you can pick from two supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engines. The first crank out 717 horsepower, while the top-rated unit achieves an incredible 797 horsepower.

Charger’s fuel economy varies considerably depending on your choice of engine. With the base V-6, you can get up to 30 mpg on the highway and 19 mpg on city roads. The largest supercharged V-8 gets 12 mpg on city roads and 21 mpg at highway speeds. The other V-8s and upgraded V-6 fall between these two extremes.

Dodge Charger Infotainment Tech

The Charger’s infotainment system is called Uconnect. In the base trim, it’s accessible through a 7-inch screen, which is paired with a six-speaker stereo. Other standard features include Bluetooth connectivity, four USB ports, and voice recognition to perform some basic tasks without taking your eyes off the road.

The infotainment system also features standard smartphone compatibility through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Another helpful feature within the infotainment system is the ability to record your lap and launch times, which is ideal for drivers who want to push their performance to the limit.

Other optional infotainment upgrades include an 8.4-inch screen, a 19-speaker premium stereo, and a navigation system.
